Tumblr is so 2009. I don’t even know why I’m on here right now.
Dutch is surprisingly easy to learn. Simply fill your mouth with crisps and then speak English and German simultaneously without breathing. — An A to Z of Belgium
The perpetual problem with Tumblr themes: they’re either too simple, or too complex.
One of my favorite scenes from Shaun of the Dead, in YTMND form!
Yesterday I learned two things: Ford is selling Volvo, and Edward Cullen drives a Volvo.
Later that night I saw someone talk about “Ford selling Edward Cullen’s cars”. I wouldn’t have known what that meant if I didn’t learn those things earlier. Funny how the world works that way. :S
lol this just looks so wrong.

According to the about section:
“Rotterdam-based photographer Ari Versluis and profiler Ellie Uyttenbroek have worked together since October 1994. Inspired by a shared interest in the striking dress codes of various social groups, they have systematically documented numerous identities over the last 14 years. Rotterdam’s heterogeneous, multicultural street scene remains a major source of inspiration for Ari Versluis and Ellie Uyttenbroek, although since 1998 they have also worked in cities abroad.
They call their series Exactitudes: a contraction of exact and attitude. By registering their subjects in an identical framework, with similar poses and a strictly observed dress code, Versluis and Uyttenbroek provide an almost scientific, anthropological record of people’s attempts to distinguish themselves from others by assuming a group identity. The apparent contradiction between individuality and uniformity is, however, taken to such extremes in their arresting objective-looking photographic viewpoint and stylistic analysis that the artistic aspect clearly dominates the purely documentary element.”
So if you ignore the confusing words, this site is basically a showcase of subcultures and how they share common dress. It’s interesting to flip though the pictures; there’s a lot of eurotrash. Some from the 90s which makes it even creepier. I’ve been looking at the site for an hour now. :D
I hoped the combination of North Face, leggings, and Uggs would die this winter.
It didn’t.
“Nigga please.”
I updated the theme again. I forget the name of it, but… this guy made it. Advertising his blog > advertising his theme.

Japanese industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa has created a series of creative fruit juice packages that have the look and feel of the fruit they contain.
Best idea ever.
